Contractors who provide remodeling services number a whopping 530,200, according to the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University. The Remodeling 550 lists the largest of those companies and franchise organizations in the home improvement industry.
Empire Development, specializing in residential and commercial remodeling, adds another recognition to an incredible year of awards and honors. Empire Development was ranked 119 out of the top 300 remodeling contractors in the nation ranked by revenue.
“We’re honored to be named on The Remodeling 550 List,” owner Tony Szak says. “The diversity in the home improvement world is enormous with a lot of remodeling contractors out there. However, we are not simply a remodeling contractor but Empire Development is a full service remodeling company with a highly qualified support staff, innovative tools, and extensive resources to help us succeed in a competitive market.”
Empire Development has won numerous awards this year for their work, including three Cut Above the Rest Awards from the Wisconsin Builders Association and a 2012 Big50 award for their high standards of professionalism and integrity. As a result the company was featured in the May issue of Remodeling, a national magazine with a readership of 80,000.
The company has phased out new home construction and has firmly planted its flag in the residential and commercial remodeling hemisphere. The move has definitely paid off as this company succeeds even in a lagging economy, earning a reputation as one of the top remodeling companies in Wisconsin by helping their clients add value to their property through renovations and energy efficient upgrades.
